Biography

After winning the Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her debut show “Sarah Millican's Not Nice”, Sarah has established a name for herself in the world of comedy. She was nominated three times for the British Comedy Awards People's Choices: Queen of Comedy and won the award in 2011.

In 2013, she was also nominated for the British Comedy Awards Best Female TV Comic for the fourth time, with a total of eight nominations.

He has released several comedy DVDs with impressive sales, since his debut with “Chatterbox Live!” – the best-selling DVD ever by a female comedian – until her last DVD in 2018, “Sarah Millican: Control Enthusiast”.

He regularly participates in television programs such as QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Big Fat Quiz, Live at the Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show. She is the author and performer of her own radio program “Sarah Millican's Support Group” for Radio 4. She has written books and has a podcast called “Standard Issue”.

His tours have been followed by thousands of fans for two decades and this is his first time in Portugal.
